The Silver Arrow

A monster had attacked the land
Using his evil power
He captured the poor princess and
Entrapped her in his tower.

A fairy managed to escape
And found a hero true
She took him to the tower door
That she had come out through.

Into the tower he did walk
His archer's bow in hand
Inside the tower lurked the beast
Whose terror struck the land.

The shining fairy led the way
And with her guiding light
Prevented evil creatures from
Harming the fearless knight.

She guided the knight through the maze
And up the tower stair
And every floor he conquered each
And every creature there.

I wish I were sweet    I could smile at you
as you walk by    and you would smile back
and your eyes would be glowing
I wish I were cute    I could blush when  
you smile    and you would giggle and we could dance
and you might kiss me on the cheek
I wish I were smart    I could say
just the right thing    and you'd smile and laugh
and you'd have a reason to love me
       But I say the wrong thing and I frighten you
I say the wrong thing    and you ask me to leave
I say the wrong thing    and I feel it in my heart
And I see it in your eyes and I wish I was dead
I wish I were better
